Boat to The Pub Waterfront Restaurant @ The Pub Waterfront Restaurant

Each Winter, the Boat Club goes to The Pub in Indian Shores for food and drinks. We will be on the North Deck, weather permitting. we will also have the Coast Guard Auxiliary there for free safety inspections. Everyone is welcome to come by boat or car. Please RSVP to Boat Club chairman Bob Griffin by phone at (727) 430-8300 or via e-mail: bob@irbboatclub.com so they know how much staff to have for us.

Clearwater Sea Blues Festival @ Coachman Park

CHANCE TO USE YOUR BOAT  – Enjoy this FREE weekend concert at Coachman Park. This annual festival has become one of Clearwater’s most beloved signature events, and appeals to thousands of visitors during February each year.

If you come by boat you can dock at the transient docks during operating hours only. If you want to overnight, call the marina and reserve a slip. Slips are limited to reserve early.

IRB Boat Docks Fish Fry @ Keegan Claire Park

Everyone will meet at the floating docks for fried fish and all the fixin’s. We will have games and raffles. Volunteers will be needed to help set up, cook the fish and serve.  Food will start serving at 1pm. BYOB

July Fourth Island Party & Fireworks

CHANCE TO USE YOUR BOAT  – Over the years, members have been meeting on One Tree Island about one mile south of the Memorial Causeway Bridge for an afternoon cookout and  swim. Bring your own food and drink and grill if you need it. They usually start showing up about 4pm. Then after sunset, you can watch the fireworks from the island or move closer to the bridge.

Three Rooker Bar Island Party & Overnight @ Three Rooker Bar

new eventWhile we have been going to Three Rooker for years, we are going to try something different. You can come either Saturday or Sunday and meet for the day, playing in the water. Bring your own food, drink and grill if you need it. Those that want to can spend Saturday night and play for two days.

Boat to Marina Cantina for Lunch @ Marina Cantina in the Clearwater Beach Marina

The IRB Boat Club will once again converge on Marina Cantina for cocktails and dinner on Saturday, August 19th. Marina Cantina is the casual restaurant inside the Clearwater Beach Marina Building owned by Baystar Restaurants. Come by trolley, car or boat. If you come by boat, radio the Dock Master on Channel 16 and he will give you a free slip for a few hours or there are a couple of reserved slips in front of the restaurant for customers.

We will first meet at 4pm, when they open, on the top deck for “Boat Drinks” and appetizers. Then around 5pm we will move down to Level 4 for dinner in air-conditioned comfort. We did this last year and had a great time.

Geckofest  @ Gulfport

CHANCE TO USE YOUR BOAT – Each year, Gulfport,  celebrates the end of summer with its largest festival of the year, dedicated to the town’s unofficial mascot and favorite reptile. You can boat down for the day or spend the night in the Gulfport City Marina.
