Fall – IntraCoastal Clean Up – September 13, 2014
During the annual Keep Pinellas Beautiful, IRB Boat Club members showed with their boats, to clean our waterway. 15 people, including City Manager Gregg Mims, met at the 15th Avenue Boat ramp, to scour the coast line and islands near Indian Rocks Beach. In addition to the usual plastic bottles and plastic bags, they found lawn furniture, tires and lots of lumber.
Several people cleaned the island near 18th Avenue, called Bird Island, while Three boaters cleaned up “Party Island” located at the north end of Indian Rocks Beach was was adopted by the IRB Boat Club a few years ago.

The Pub, January
Boat Club kicked off the year with a fun afternoon at The Pub. Because the cold, blustery weather didn’t allow many to travel by boat, the Coast Guard Auxiliary will attend another event for boat inspections.
